i'm Deniz, but usually i go by naevui.
i like linux, open source, low-level things, and figuring out what actually happens underneath all the abstractions. i'm the kind of person who'll take apart a perfectly working setup just to understand it a little better, then spend the rest of the night putting it back together.
i spend an unreasonable amount of time breaking my own setup, building things that may or may not need to exist, messing with servers and old hardware, and listening to music while fixing everything again. if something has a configuration file, there's a pretty good chance i've changed it for no particularly good reason.
outside of code, i'm usually out for a walk, listening to music, watching something, or disappearing down some completely unrelated rabbit hole that seemed interesting five minutes ago. i like making things feel like mine, whether that's software, a linux install, a server sitting somewhere in my room, or this website.
i care more about experimenting, learning how things work, and making weird little things than keeping everything perfectly sensible. sometimes that results in something genuinely useful. sometimes it results in me wondering why i touched it in the first place.
i'm mostly here because computers are more fun when you don't leave them alone. :3
